Returning to base

In sh3 you had the option to return to base by pressing the esc key.
Instead of sailing all the way back, ive not found away to do this in sh4 is there away or does this not exist in sh4 stock game

Does not exist in SH4. Keep an eye on that fuel

It can be frustrating too. In my first career I completed a hugely successful patrol. I'd taken a big risk and snuck into an enemy harbor, bagged 3 ships, and got out unscathed. I was on my way home, cruising along on the surface, very proud of myself.

By the time I saw the Japanese plane it was too late. It was just like Das Boot!
