The Good, The Bad, and the Downright Freakin' Frustrating

The Good News: I get to install GWX 3

The Bad News: I was 18 patrols into GWX 2.

The Downright Freaking Frustratin': I loaded up this morning and all my saves were gone....no saved game other then Patrol 1 In Base before mission...nothing else.

2 years of slaving away and the Bdu reefs me out of my happy warm playground in the Med surrounded by hand picked staff, and shoves me back to Wilhemshaven.

On a side issue: what causes this error for the next skipper to be torn away. The game files all exist when I checked, but two reloads just would not produce the save game files. Coincidentally, I think my game must have crashed/frozen a dozen times on the weekend, it's never done that before.

im pretty sure in order to install gwx 3 you must completely unisntall sh3 and that your saves dont work after

if you tried to install gwx 3 over gwx 2 that might be causeing your errors and CTDs

If you really want to finish your career, just install 2.1 again

Not quite the correct read.
The errors are crashes, which resulted in the loss of save games, which lead me to load GWX3.
