Looking for auto acceleration mod

Some time ago somebody published a small mod or fix to change the * key to control the time acceleration. When you would push a key, acceleration went up automatically, without the need to press it repeatingly.

Does anyone still have that mod or fix? Can't find it anywhere on the board.
Any help would be appreciated!
