I just installed UBM and the one thing i really dont like is the interface is like SH4. I prefer the SH3 style where commands are arainged by officer specialties ( I know clickable crewmen is too much to ask). but the organization of the commands and the cryptic sci-fi style icons are a real pain. Has anyone attemped to mod this or are there any plans to?
If not are there any good work arounds for instance will my SH3 keyboard file work in SH4? Any thoughts or help is appreciated. Thanks |

In short, no. The commands are preety easy to mod, TMO and RFB come with a ton of buttons, most of which can be found on multiple pages

That's just your old habits not wanting to die properly.
After playing SH4, I was quite happy with the setup. Especially after going back and seeing Gunther's Grimacing Mug and not knowing if he was the Engineer or the Watch Officer. Or spending most of your hand-eye coordination quality time whipping the mouse cursor back & forth from every corner of the screen for the slideouts.. Really... SH3's interface was horrible. You just got too used to it, since you had to relearn how to use a halfway normal interface after that one. It's not easy digging your way back out. ![]()
