Is there an way to make the M.O.H. harder to recieve?? I feel stupid getting it for killing a bunch of unarmed people. I can understand getting it if you have engaged a task force, you know kill a battleship or a carrier or two, but unarmed merchants. Hell most of them can't even shoot back..

Well think of it as destroying materials that could have made a new carrier or warship. War is always horrible, but this is a game mate

Of the seven US sub skippers who earned a MOH three got it posthumously, and one after surviving brutal treatment in a Japanese POW camp. As far as I known none were awarded it for sinking battleships or carriers although Sam Dealy was famous for killing destroyers. I guess if you want to feel you earned it you almost have to get yourself killed or captured.

MOHs and VCs are both very posthumous medals, since the requirements are for you to put yourself in situations with very high risks.
