PC crasches while loading missions

Hi!

I'm playing SH3 1.4 and GWX 3.0.

When I try to open the museum or to start one mission of a career the PC always chrashes before the rad bar "finishes" the last 1 cm.

Could you please help me with this?

Comp spec ?
Any other mods enabled ?
And do you have a pop up saying SH3 has caused an error etc

I'm playing under Win XP;

I don' t get any pop ups saying that an error took place, but the red bar never reaches the right side, so the mission doesn't start.

No additional mods installed, only game with patch 1.4 included and gwx 3.0

Have you had an installation installed prior?

If so, did you delete the SH3 folder in MyDocs prior to installing again?

This has worked for me in the past.

1. Test - See if you can load and run a training tutorial.
2. If you can not run a training mission them I can't help you.
3. If you can run a training mission then exit and delete your
SHIII folder in "My Documents"
4. Start a new career and see if the problem has been taken
care of.
5. For some reason that I don't know the SHIII file can be corupt.
