Sub Availability in Asiatic Fleet?

I've just rolled into early 1943 in my campaign, and was offered a new ship (Gato class). However, this new ship is based out of Pearl Harbor, and I'd prefer to stay in the Asiatic fleet.

Does anyone know when certain subs become available in the Asiatic fleet? I was unable to find any specific dates for the various classes. I'm currently based out of Perth-Fremantle, and I'd love to stay there (a little closer to the action).

Historically, there was at least one Gato-class sub(Finback) based in Perth-Fremantle by the middle of 1943. There were also some Gar and Tambor classes. Whether the game reflects this or not I don't know.

In the UPC folder of the SH4 data folder there is a file called CareerStart which list the flotillas and what boats are available to them at certain times of the war. It's a bit cryptic to read, but I think you can get the gist of it. The boats available also vary by whatever mod you are using. (Each mod has it's own UPC)
