some problem during career

Hi I new to the game and the forum but I have one problem about career I have no i dea what happend to mine's summarines. It say my sumarines was destroy and they arent any ship near me. I usully put the game time as fast as i can. I out on x4000. My summarine was in the middle of the sea between Australia and papui new guinea please help what kill me?

It may have been an air attack that you missed because of the high TC. At any rate, welcome to the forums!

ty but now i got problem about how to escape destroyer. In my u-boat mission I stuck when they told me to destroy the US convoy. The convoy got 4destroyer and 1 light crusier. The destroyer seem to know everywhere am I. I dive in to 60feet radio silience but still they always know where I was. What to do to them?
any thing to stop them from killng me? I try to escape by going on the other side but the destroyer was so fast it catch me up everywhere I go. And my torpedo keep missing I cant hit warship that move 30k

What year is it in game? By mid-late war the allies have established successful ASW. Not to mention the fact that Radar and Sonar has come into their own at this point, and were improveing.

The point is, steer clear of escorts! When attacking escorted convoys, get well ahead of them and wait. I wait deep, and listen to the approaching convoy with my hydrophones. As good as the escorts are, their sonar can cover only so much area. If you're caught inside this area, you're dead. Wait outside this zone until the escort passes. Once you are in his baffles, it is difficult for him to hear and detect you. Creep in, attack, and go deep and quiet!! That's the best advice I could give you. Believe me, I've been on the wrong end of the attack plenty of times! Good luck!
