Lost save files

Hi everyone first of I love this site. there is a lot of stuff here.
Just joined..
I have a problem though.
I hit the wrong tab and lost my career saves. I was into 42 patrols..
any way to find it?
any way to download one?

Well if you deleted it, wouldn't it be in recycling bin?

Not if you deleted it in SH3.

Edit: As for recovering a deleted save... Not sure if there is a way, short of doing a System Restore lol

Yea I looked in the bin.. I am preety sure it is Gone.

Welcome aboard Toolworx

Go to C\MyDocs\SH3

If it's not there, you've inadvertently deleted it.

If on the off chance you are experiencing the 'lost save game' bug.......when you open C\MyDocs\SH3 you will still be able to see your career, simply add the letter 'x' to the career name and your saves should show up again ingame.

Just one way to escape this problem: regularly make a backup of your SH3 folder.
(and I always forget to do it !
