Other Ships To Play ?

Hello Captains,

I was wondering if it is possible to play with ships instead of submarines...
I would like to expierience the feeling with a ship and throwing dept-bombs on the subs after pinging them.

So is this possible ? or i need a mod ?

Version 1.2 i use.

Hi there,

Here is a link to a playable surface ship, though you cannot drop depth charges with it.
It is meant for strictly surface warfare.

Edit: Just noticed you are using version 1.2, the above link is for 1.5, and most mods in
general are for 1.4 and 1.5.

The only way that is possible, that I know of is through on-line/networking multi-player.

Other than that there is the older game Destroyer Command. And possibly that can be played in conjunction with Silent Hunter II if I remember correctly.

Allright, then i start patching to 1.5, i guess thats the best.
I do this in few days, my computer is to crap at the moment, freezes when i load a game, no matter wich -.-

Thanks for the help, i will do the patch + mod in few days
