Default Trigger Maru campaign problem...

I need some help please!!

After installing SH4 Gold (v1.5), I then loaded Trigger Maru and began playing a new campaign (Task Force 3/51/71 starting on Dec 6th in a porpoise class sub all set at “easy” level.) Everything went fine on the first patrol until I returned back to my Surabay Java port. When I hit the “Esc” button on my computer, I did not get any menu asking me if I wanted to finish this patrol. Only the regular menu options appeared (resume, load, save, game options, exit to menu or exit to windows.)

What do I need to do to finish the first patrol and go back into the campaign headquarters to be able to start my second patrol? Am I doing something incorrectly?

Could this TMO install perhaps have gotten corrupted or not been installed correctly? (I did notice when I went to start the campaign that there was no listed “Campaign” title option in the main TMO menu. Instead, the main menu showed this “---“ title right underneath the top “sub school” menu option without any word description.) Aside from this, it seems that everything runs correctly.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards.

Did your homebase change during the course of your patrol? Your base is indicated by the slanted anchor.

Ah, it looks like my home base was indeed switched to Fremantle. Thanks!!

Unfortunately, my fuel supply is just about used up. I was already sweating it out as to whether my fuel would hold up to this point. Is there any way that I can fuel up here in order to allow me to proceed to my new home base? Otherwise, I might need to be looking for a ride from some of the local fly boys.

You should be able to refuel at any friendly port ... Midway being the standard refueling point when stationed out of Pearl. Once inside about 5nm, look for a green anchor icon in the upper right corner. Clicking on it gives you the option to "Dock at:<current port>" ... click again and you get the option to "Refit" ... which includes refueling.
