How Many Missions in U.S. Campaign?

I'm just wondering how many missions there are going to be in the US Campaign.

I'm just starting mission 8 now (Did the first 6 three times working out my "Loading Saved Games" Error problem).

I do my best to go and refit and keep returning to sink as many ships as I can each mission because I'm worried about getting to the end too soon.

Ending Mission 7 I have 385,258 Tons sunk. The next closest captain has 47,000.

I'm sure a lot of people are pounding my skills right now but I love seeing my score squishing the others on the board.

The game simulates WWII from '41 to '45 so there are no fixed numbers of missions. You can finish as many missions till the war is won in '45.
