Default Is there a way I can "dumb down" the AI in GWX?

I will be the first to admit I am a terrible skipper. I love GWX and would not play without it but is there a way to tone down the AI? I don't want them to be super easy, but I would like to be able to finish out the later years of the war without my tail between my legs. Yes I know that isn't realistic, but reality bites. Sorry if this has been asked before.

Good advice, I should stop being a pussy.

Subchaser12,

Check out the GWX manual. There is an entire appendix discussing ASW escape and evasion there.

Hmmm if you use VII class dive to 240 m and you wont have any problem. However dont reach 260m you will start losing hull integrity.

Why screw up your career ?

They didn't put all those single great missons in to take up hdd space.

Different sub types in different years for you to try out different tactics.

And I might add it's a great place to get your manual targeting skills up to speed.

I'm probably just wasteing my breath and typeing time.
