I know HMS Onyx suffered some damage during the Falklands/Malvinas War. Anyone has pics of that boat during the war or after it (specially in dry dock)?
Thanks in advance!

Try asking your question on www.submariners.co.uk and I give you a 20/1 odds you may get what you are looking for.The submarine operations down south are still not widely discussed.

Linton, Book, thanks for the replies.
I know there is still secrecy about UK submarine operations during the war, and I don´t know why: so much time passed under the bridge. Even the boats are retired now (some, as the Onyx, are museum pieces!) It´s like being in the ´70 and still keeping the secret about "the mistery submarines which damaged the Tirpitz"

Ok, I have this image of the HMS Onyx returning from the war.
![]() Note the Jolly Roger. Why? For sinking the LSL Sir Galahad (a british ship!) or for inserting commandos in the Argentine mainland? In any case, the HMS Conqueror used a dagger symbol to "celebrate" her SAS disembark mission.
