I'm no expert but I tried to convert the Jap. Kate airplane, the model showed up but with no textures. I think the dds files need to be converted to tga. Couldn't manage to get it showing properly.. Perhaps change texture names inside dat files.. For ships I remember reading there are much more things to change; the ini files would need to be adapted to SH3 syntax for one thing.

It's all for units. Graphical mods you need converting as textures plau insert in game all file's mods. And need insert files from directories what is have in SH3 only. Files from other directories can not work in SH 3 total. All weapons from SH4 would be excellent work in SH3. All files from textures, Library, object and other directories would be work another. And remember all new featuries what you insert in game and place in SH 3 all support files for featuries what is need. |
