Default It has probably been said before....

A passing remark to the improvements made by the Modders to this software (I should say "necessary improvements", but I've been told that I need to mellow):

After six days of program time, at least a day of it in real-time, culminating in a fourth hydrophone contact after an equal amount of course reversals, my boat lost the scent of a reported "Large Convoy".

The Alert was broadcast by an engaging boat, and we heard the rumour of that boats demise. Cheating once with external view, the late boat gave as good as it got.

Set in the early Spring of '42, the furthest I've gotten along without purposely starting there, was very engaging, very enthralling. Ships were wounded, the convoy sporadically changing course, conveying a sense of desperation.

Some might wonder at my personal satisfaction in never attaining battle. The chase was every frustrating moment I've ever read about, written by those who lived it.

It is the realism that makes the experience a rewarding one.

Thank you.
