Default Carribbean bound...

I am heading into the Carribbean for some (easy?) tonnage. I have had good luck so far with two Large Merchants, one Granville and one Empire-class freighters east of the Azores. We'll see what happens...

I am not in the habit of duking it out with aircraft on the surface but a thought crossed my mind. Is it actually possible to shoot down a U.S.N. blimp?
I have traded shots with one outside of Key West (in another lifetime) but the shots didn't seem to take any effect. It is not like it is a difficult target being huge and slow but it seems to take a lot of punishment.
Anyone like to share some experiences?

The areas around Cuba, Curacao, Panama and in the gulf of Mexico are full of tankers and lonely ships. Historically the Americans did not secured the area with air saturation and heavy escort patrols until late 1942. Therefore if you patrol in the area up until mid 1943 you can get some pretty massive tonnage. After that though things are going to be a bit "difficult".

Good luck

I wouldn't know. I tried two times, and both times it crashed into the water before I could fire a single round.

Maybe it's a new American weapon - a flying sub.

Good hunting in the Caribbean. It's usualy an easy tonnage.
