Default MOD to see my sub sinking all the way down... pls help

I tried to mod the game to not finish when some water or some damage is taken... I want to see my submarine struggle with the water inside... and going down when it loose the fight , I tried everything... I increase hitpoints in every compartment... I increase some parameters from Zones.cfg ... nothing helped... when water is at 1/5 in 3-4 compartments the game is ending... PLEASE HELP what parameter to mode in order to be able to see my sub going down in the abys !!

THANKS A LOT !

very odd request, indeed... :p
I suppose the last thing a captain would like to see is his boat, his men and himself going down into an abyss.

anyway, I believe it might be hardcoded

Default the last think I want to see.......

maybe I missed the point here....but...
"the last think I want to see", does not
mean that I don't want to see it at all...

let's count on...player's elementary curiosity......
simple because...all what is going to happen after
"the last think I want to see" is something that will
certanly increase entire drama of the game and may
rise event to the level of pure finaleeee chresendoooo....

if someone can visualy present that aspect of the game,
he will certanly lift the whole atmosphere of SH4. visual
atracton of that kind....is more than welcome.....

finaly " the last think I want to see " (scene) will bring some
strong emotions to all players who did try to save their crows
before all gone wrong....
.................................................. .........................:hmm:

Reminds me a little of old SH I.

The death screens were different representing the very end you got. Like boats sinking and hull implodes, being shot to bits on the surface or gently resting on the sea floor unable to surface anymore....

Yes , this feeling I want to have.... even if maybe it's a bit unrealistic for the crew to be able to do something when they have a compartment full of water. Right now I feel a little frustrated when suddenly the game ends.

Well the 'death scene' for SH4 is a little better than SH3's "Your dead" but not by much.

I sort of role play it as the spinning exterior cam relates the last thing we saw.

I think its hard coded. Besides even 'sinking ships' dissappear after sinking a goodly distance. I tried chasing them with the exterior cam as deep as possible whe 'poof' there gone.

what I really want is my boat not to "die" after sitting on the bottom for a while...it would be nice to have until my air ran out to try to get the water out (can you say das boot!)

I really enjoyed the sub sinking in Enigma RT. It would be great if SH4 could have something like that.

Lights flickering.
Camera angle changing
Complete darkness
Loud noises

Death...

The OP reminds me of this time I was attacking a harbour, and got rammed by a Destroyer in shallows. I started taking on water and sank to the bottom (Around 30m.)

The destroyer sank, and I'd already taken care of the other ships, so I had little to worry me except for air cover if I could get back to the surface.

It felt like forever to get the sub to surface again, with a load of dead crew, flooded compartments and such. Luckily for me I had the ability to repair destroyed components, but my hull was shot. I had to make it all the way back to port on the surface or at periscope depth.

If I remember correctly, Philipp Thomsen did it for SHIII, but I never tried that mod out. Puts
