Introduction and purpose of this forum

Since we have some really knowledgeable PC gurus here, this forum is the place to discuss building and upgrading computers, adding RAM, keeping up with the latest CPU, MoBo, and video card tech, & sharing info about PCs in general.

If you have a question about hardware relating to a game in particular, for example: What video card will run Silent Hunter III?, you would want to post that in the SHIII forum. But if you want to know what is a good video card for under $300, post it here.

We'll give this forum a trial run and see if it is helpful, If not, I can move the topics back into the GT forum later.

If you know of a thread in a forum that may belong here, please PM me with the link.

Also, I would like to name two moderators here. Someone who is up to speed on PC tech and likes to help. Any volunteers?
