Hmm thought i could share this "bug or glitch or default..........." with some captain
Using 16km OLC, at the beginning i spot one bb and one bc. My officer couldnt recommend a target because it was out of range. But when they reached my sight i immediatly order my crew to lock taget. As they come closer, i thought they would detect me and shoot some big shell on my ship. I immediatly try to flee. Success now im 20k away from them ( detecting signal radar helped me to find the range). Now the weird thing is........ ![]() ![]() So does any of you have met this weird problem in stock or 16km? Isnt the locked range supposed to be taken when you are outranged? |

I think that's at least based on a stock bug. I've sometimes been able to pick out targets 20-30km away for a brief second. Never seen my deck crews firing at them though, but tracking sure. Usually it's been with a ship/convoy I'd spotted at some point before I think.

Yep, it's a stock bug.
You can also lock the target in your periscope for 1-3 seconds, even though it is well outside visual range of the periscope.

Dont blame me to resurrect this but i think why my gunner are still firing at them!
![]() ![]() I noticed when i detect a signal radar you can still order your crew to fire without stopping. But when you dont have a signal radar contact..... forget it. ![]() ![]() |
