Set key and desktops

I am using setkey 1.1 and saving to the commands_en.cfg file but it doesn't take. Please advise.

Also, I was looking for some nice desktops from Silent hunter but don't know where to look. I have looked at the forums but haven't really seen any made for desktops. Thanks in advance!

Hi, matey; welcome aboard.
There are numerous splash screens available; however, you can make your own for your desktop. Use the ctrl-f11 to make your picture and it will be saved as a bit map in your Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII folder.
I have never heard of anybody having a problem with SetKeys. Perhaps your copy is bad; re-download it and re-install it.

OK, so maybe this is obvious, but are you sure it is being saved to the right folder (C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Cfg)?

Ha! Thanks guys. What was happening was when I installed GWX it defaluts to german keyboard.

I LOVE this! 1 keypress to drop both scopes, ping depth and crash dive, Max time compress and max flak and deck gun with 1 keystroke. Awesomeness no longer fighting the menus I'm fighting the battles!
