Default You know when SHIV is good because........

When someone (like me) who is terrified of deep water gets "weirded out" using the external cam when deeply submerged.

Or, when you start asking for a mug of Ki instead of a cup of tea or coffee.

Are there mines in the stock game? Once when I was going past Singapore all of a sudden there was a huge explosion. I had serious damage in the engine room, was repaired though, and suffered minor hull damage. It was at night, no planes or escorts about, I figured it was a shore battery.

Heh I was playin a mission tonight...

Weater was terrible but Smitty was really good with that radar thing.

We tracked up to and engaged a medium frigher, on the surface...

Some quick rough calcs after all we were so close how could we miss! Fired two torps at the merchant...

"BOOM" the merchants guns answered. I literally jumped in my seat... "BOOM" another round... this one finds a mark.

Only one torp hit, "Hard to Port!!" we tryed to show her her stern while more gun rounds were fired ... some landing. Felt like she had 3 or 4 guns.

I was almost sweating now... finally the stern came to bear. The first torp had hit her astern, slowing her considerably. An easy shot. Fire 10

A couple more rounds from the armed freighter, crack shots they were 2 more landed. Punched a hole in me batterys they did. Each shot made me cringe as that short time when you see the muzzle flash and the round arrives.

Tube 10 hit and split her in two.

Normally SH4 is not the type of game to make you jump in your seat. Crew thought the skipper was nuts.... But we pulled it off!
