Default hydrophone ina action

Hi All!

Im using gwx2.0 and would like to know, at what range did you guys picked up ship's noise with hydrophone. Last time i was a bit sad when i made a hydro check {manualy} submerged and then a couple of minutes later the watchmen saw a merchant {which saw me as well} . Altough Its possible that i havent heard it, but that must have been a very low noise {it was a 1900 t freighter}.

Whaaaaat

Anyway, to have perfect hearing under the water with hydrophone, stop your engines. Turn up your stereo/headphone's sounds. And listen carefully on every direction.

If you think you heard something, check that direction again, wait and listen.

Thats it

Welcome aboard!

You can hear propeller sounds from about 30km. Make sure that the Ambient volume knob is turned up (click on the upper part of it). You have to do it once at the start of the patrol, and after reloading the game.

Heh of course i meant it after we went on surface again and then a couple of seconds {in 64 x time compress - about 3-5 kms further} he saw a merchant. I do regular submerged hydro sweeps about every 3-4 hours. I go for 25 m and switch off engines. I should propably use headphones than regular speakers i guess. Thank anyway for the tips
