hi all
its been while that i posted here, but i have a question that can be a suggestion as well. last night something got me thinking about SH3 and SH4 with this i mean the gunfire from the deckgun and the other guns. i was wondering if it would be possible to create a mod that changes that fireball (wich represents the bullets) into a "real" bullet or shell. in my opinion it would be a bit more realistic then the in - and outgoing rounds right now. not that im complaining or anything, but it would add more realism to the game, cause i dont think that u could see the incomming shells in real life when the enemy opened fire ![]() is this possible to do? :hmm: and if so does anyone feel called upon to try this? i would do it if i could mod, but i cant. grtz sturmer |

Good idea, but IRL you see the tracer element and not the round - the 'fireball' is not a bad representation. Outgoing rounds are easier to see than incoming (especially when straight at you) and you'd only see rounds without tracer when they strike the sea or hull.

i know what u mean and i agree, but it would be nicer to see a shell plonge in sea right beside ur hull instead of the tracer effect.

Hmmm muzzle velocity from a shell is more than 700m/s in naval warfare. I doubt you can see it in real time. But nothing would better if you can see the shell in a slow motion. That would be great!
