I'm actually doing alright despite the economic fiasco. Looking forward to the subsim meet. Happy Birthday to you, btw.

Nb8-c6...hmm:hmm:

I was afraid you would do that.

No matter, I'll get that knight or force him to retreat, and I have big guns in the center:p

Drowning in work, eh? I hope you don't have a maritime profession.
Where do you work? I don't believe you mentioned it in the last game.

School work! And as a matter of fact, I'm staring down a 60 page thesis on contemporary piracy... somebody throw me a life saver!

White 5. Ng1-f3

A 60-page thesis on contemporary piracy!? What nazi gave you that assignment?
I can't imagine how anything about modern pirates would occupy 60 pages. They come from poor countries, they steal stuff and kill people. Their only distinction from their land-based contemporaries is that they use boats.

What is the assignment, exactly? Maybe I can help you do some research or review your work, if you would like that. Other than that, good luck

I'm not too sure yet. It's not due til sometime in March, and I've got a well-informed Commander willing to supervise me. Though when it gets rolling I may need a hand. Sorting through maritime law and the situation on the strategic policy level is easy, but I struggle in the 'nitty gritty' of the tactical and operational strata.
