Hmmm, a couple there aren't as bad as they seem. Landing on a beach scary??? Done a couple of times on Fraser Island in Queensland, no problems at all (except when I had to get out and help push the plane when it got bogged!) Reagan national airport should be closed, but the high ups who work on the hill like to get out of town as soon as possible! Lesotho isn't all that bad (it does look scary, I do admit that) but you should see some of the "landing strips in the mountains of Papa New Guinea!

Gibraltar does have a unique hazard, just wach out for the train cross the main runway!

I like the one at 7500 feet that you get to drop off a cliff on takeoff until you start flying! I need to try that.

Reminds me of dropping into Mt St. Helens before and during the middle of its eruption phases. Used to come in that thing at speed, drop the wing, take pics, and then hit the the throttles to the firewall to pull out of the other side with good speed, lest you be sucked into the ground with the downdrafts along the edge of the rim.

Passing those lookout towers at 220 MPH + and at the same level is a fun experience! You could reach out and touch them. Those images are still burned into my mind.

The only one I've personal experience of is Gibraltar.

Strange how they failed to mention that the runway has a public road cutting across it with a small wooden barrier (similar to a rail crossing).

I love this one! Look at the guys on the beach! What a way to get tossed into the water!

Might as well get a cam on the ground view too:
