Default Oh no, not again! Somebody tell the Navy it ain't so

Check the description of this photo at the U.S. Navy website:

GALVESTON, Texas (Sept. 19, 2008) The Edsall-class destroyer escort Stewart (DE 238)
and the Gato-class submarine Cavalla (SS 244), both museum ships at Seawolf Park on
Pelican Island in Galveston, Texas, are shown entirety on land. The floating museums were
carried off their moorings during Hurricane Ike's storm surge.

Arrggghhh!

I wonder why somebody displays SS-runes and reference to a SS-division Hiterjugend in his posts. Are you a Nazi? You must understand, the question recommends itself. In Germany you now would need to talk to the police first, and the judge second. :hmm:

Fantastic.

Glorification of the fashist SS, and some real Nazis there. Just what several dozen millions died for.

Fantastic.

Another name added to the list.

I suppose it's bettern than them being torn off their moorings and now ending up halfway accross the Gulf of Mexico.

They weren't washed up on shore; the entire ocean level has just dropped several feet.

You should see Queen Mary.

No, you are wrong. To me it looks like a regular surfacing manouvre. Don't you see the ocean in the background.
