Default Basic Tutorial

I am new to this. I can operate the sub, and fire its weapons. But I have no idea about TDC, attacking, etc. Is there a basic tutorial or online tutorial? Otherwise, I'm goin down! (again)

As a tip; find a realism level you're comfortable with, and slowly crank it up as you learn. Probably easier to start of with auto-targeting to get a hang of maneuvering the sub into position for an intercept. No duds and unlimited fuel will help you along as well by removing a couple of annoyances, like running out of fuel after your first succesfull patrol.

Welcome aboard.

Default thanks

thanks for your two posts. It is much appreciated, as I am close to being thrown out of the service for incomptence and inciting a mutiny.

It takes time, but you'll get the hang of it. On my first patrol my crew tried to set me adrift on a life-raft.

I envy your position on the learning curve....

What joy it would be to be able to have the opportunity to relearn it all again. Poets have probably wriiten reams and reams on that theme....:hmm:

Hey....just stick with it and learn from your mistakes. First don't keep doing the same thing in the same way while expecting a different outcome. Next if you encounter some specific problem that you can't get a handle on ...then this is the place to seek advice.
