GWX Fuel & Compass sliders problem.

Hi everyone,

I love the great work the GWX team have done for all of us

, but two little things get in the way of my gameplay:

1. The 'Engineer Report' slider (fuel, baterry levels etc..) that snicks out from the lower left of the all screens.

2. The large compass that appears from the right-hand side.

I am always accidentally snagging on or other of these and would like to disable or remove them. It's probably down to my poor hand-eye co-ordination but they are seriously getting in the way!

Any help much appreciated.

The 'Report' slider will take some more research, but somebody will be along with the answer if I don't find it first.

As for the big Compass, I used this advice originally posted by Ichso:

Thanks for that info, Sailor Steve! I'll gird my loins and give it a go, although my computer 'skills' are about equivalent to a one-legged man on a pogo stick!

Only the other night the compass kept snagging my fire button when I was setting-up on a Dido CL. It distracted me so much I missed from 1300m with a two-shot spread.

Yeah, that's one of the complaints several folks have had - the annoying habit of popping out right when you don't want it. I'm weird in a different way: I removed it so I could put it right back in again as part of FLB Sales' Simfeeling 6-Dials mod, which makes all the guages into big slideouts. Before I found out about removing it I had TWO compasses doing that!

Now, where's that Dido gone...?
