Modders I need help with SUV 1.4!!!!

Recently bought a new SUV And am having some problems.
It has wonderful navigation map but I can’t seem to get the attack map to work.
I am running SUV 1.4 with TMO for SUV ( Tiger Maru Overland) and RSRS
(Run Silent Run Surfaced) for TMO.. Is this a glitch or something a Mod can
fix? One other thing, can the duty station for the NW (nagging wife) be
moved to the rear compartment? She doesn’t see the need to fight WWII
over again.
While the aft twin 20MM anti tailgate guns work well, I need
help with replacing the headlights with 2 Mk. 27 Cuties. No good Captain
runs at night with the lights on. Also there is a big problem. When I use
the crash dive button in the center of the helm, the warning horn sounds,
the NW gives unintelligible commands and the SUV goes to flank speed,
but we remain on the surface. This always gets a response from some of
Ducimus devilish airplanes, or in this case helicopters and a trip to traffic court.
I have modded to a black asphalt with yellow strip Fooskin, this sometimes
fools the choppers but has little affect on a black and white DD.
RSRS is great lots of contacts along the major shipping lanes I 5 and I 80
with large convoys near big ports like Los Angeles and San Francisco even
Las Vegas has good targets, mostly troop transport buses.
I am enjoying Suv 1.4 but with a little help from all you great Modders
it can be oh so much more fun.:p

Just my way of saying thanks to all the modders for all their hard work.
Leovampire (RIP), Ducimus rip ( retire in peace) Killer 2, Lurker, Capnscurvy.
and everyone else involved in any of the excellent mods in this forum.
You have taken a good sim and made it a great sim.
Thanks a million to all modders and all those who have helped me and so many
others with great advice, this is a great community.

This is my first post, hope you like it. Magic452

Investigation has found that your SUV is a BMW. In order for the attack map to work in a German SUV, you will have to upgrade to version 1.5, included in SUVUBM. In the German SUV, the station for the NW has been moved to temp storage under the deck, outside the pressure hull.

SUVUBM also has a Type XXVIII modification with a capability of quick bursts of speed to 250 knots for BWDD avoidance. And remember the deck gun should not be used on BWDDs, only two wheeled sampans.

NWs work especially well deployed to the deck gun position but due to a bug sometimes remains deployed even when the SUV is submerged.

Locally, we're checking out a new mod called Hanna, which appeared to successfully submerge SUVs in shipping lanes US-92 and I-4 early this morning. Tests with an earlier mod, Fay, also produced promising results. Testing of SUV submergence mods produced so far show that the side effects are usually too severe compared to the benefit of submergence.

Welcome to SUBSIM, magic! Here's a screenshot of an NW deployed on the AA gun.

In order for the crash dive to work you must be cruising somewhere in the Florida or Gulf Coast vicinity during Hurricane season.

If you try Real SUV, you'll be able to submerge in a mudslide along the I-5 shipping lane. Be aware that fuel consumption is modeled realistically, so no using a flank bell to get to your patrol area.

One of those B&W DD s got me and took out the motherboard, laid up in port
for a few days. Don’t think I can make it to Texas in time for Ike to test submerged
operations. Have to Wait for mud slid season for testing or maybe deep snow along
I-80 near Lake Tahoe. :hmm:

The NW manning the deck gun is brilliant, I can now truly run silent. Thanks Rockin Robbins

You gotta make sure you pack at least one Cutie on board to sweet-talk the B&W DDs. Sometimes they will get distracted and not drop their depth charges on you. In exceptional circumstances the Cutie can also be the NW, saving you a crew slot. Deploying the Cutie/NW on the deck gun then becomes even more beneficial. In that combination, deployment to the captain's cabin is also an attractive option.

Installed a "cutie" using AGIECR (a girl in every control room) mod and assigned to deck gun. Forgot to combine cutie with NW.
NW took one look at cutie and...... well......
I'll be spending a few days in dry dock. It was a good idea.
