Mission help

I would like to transfer some of the gvwx 2.1 multiplayer missions to single missions, is that possible? I'm particullary interested in the New York and Florida 44 missions. I'm a newbie and completly at a loss. When I first got the basic it3 game it had folders for the single and multiplayer missions in the data file. No such folders that I could find in the sh3 file now with the mod. It seems they'd have to be in the mod somewhere; but, I don't know how to access it. Please help and thanks in advance..

in your main game file you should find the shIII mission editor
(hereafter referred to as M.E.)
basically you pull up your mission in the multi player missions
folder that you want. once you have it open in the editor
you need to locate edit parameters in the top bar.
somewhere in there is a choice for multi player mission
you will need to deselect it but your not done yet so
dont hang up.
now you need to go to save as
and locate the single missions folder
open it create a new folder and this parts
vital the name of the folder and the name
of the mission your saving must be identical
once youve named the folder then save your
new single mission into it under an Identical
name as the folder

jump in game check single missions to confirm
its all there try it out
and post back here if you have troubles

enjoy

While in the ME delete the rest of the player subs
Multiplayer missions have anywhere from 4 to 8
Make sure you leave one

Otherwise as MM posted above

Default More Mission help

I found the mission folders on my desktop files and the Mission Editor folder. This is probably a stupid question but how do I pull up the multiplayer mission in the editor? Do I need to start the editor? What do I do from there? Sorry if you need to take me step by step. I really appreciate it...Where do you delete the rest of player subs in M.E.?

Yep open the mission editor
From the file tab on the left click " Open ( normal mission ) "

Point it to the SingleMission folder and then to the mission you want to change ( assuming you have copied the Multiplayer mission over into SingleMissions )

Once you have the mission open
Click the " Mission " on top line then Parameters

Put the dot into Single missions ( should already be in Multi player )

Looking on the main map in front you can see the player subs
Click on one and press the keyboard " Delete "
Continue until only one player sub left

When finished click on file
Save ( Normal Mission
