Radio Room?

In port between patrols, I snagged an officer with passive ability on radio. The tool tip that appears says he needs to be in the Radio Room.

On the crew management screen there isn't a "radio room", just the control room and the conning tower. So where should I place him - my guess is conning tower?

Yes the CT. You'll find that that's the only location where the symbol changes from dark Green to Light Green meaning he's in the correct location.
