Question about 1:125 Revell U-99
Does anyone make a photo-etched set for this scale. I know that Eduard makes sets for 1:144 and 1:72 but so far I have failed to find a set for 1:125 (being an unusual scale I guess
![]() Also any manufacturer out there with decal sets for this scale? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would stear clear from that kit. It has been on the market for donkeys years. The detail is non existent, fit is poor, and what you end up with only remotely resemble the excellent 1/144 kit.
I recommend the 1/144 either VIIC, or D version strongly. ![]() I have assembled both of them kits, and as soon as finished the 1/125 kit- it ended up on the bottom of my massive fish tank. Now it is covered with algae, so nobody can see how poor it actually is. |

Wow, good to know.
Unfortunately I have already purchased the kit (it was only $15 shipped so no big harm done). Well, I will use it to "brush off" my modeling skills. Maybe build some waterline diorama. Thanks!

Actually I have one in the process of building and, despite showing its age and being completely unable to rival with the latest kits, it doesn't look that bad once you have drilled all flooding holes and reduced the thickness of some areas :hmm:
