Default Anyone know where I can redownload the Direct2Drive version? I have the key.

I use a CD version now and I want the D2D again. I have the key where I purchased it from D2D but lost the file. They would not let me download it again even though I said it was useless without the key. I got frustrated and bought the CD game but I got the bright idea to ask here. I want a starforce free version mainly. Any help would be appreciated.

If that worked I would not have had to post. Spent days with D2D customer service. I lost my D2D account info. SH3 is the only thing I ever bought from them. Well SWAT 4 but this was all years ago.

There is a way to install SH3 without starforce. Edited by RDP, Talk of cracks is against SUBSIM Rules

How does that work? So no one has a D2D file. I hope people don't think I am asking for a freeby. I have the key for the game, otherwise the file is useless.

You signed up here on behalf of D2D to offer support?

I have never considered using D2D before, but that just changed my mind!

Most people use S.F. without problem, but thats not to say there are no problems. (see here).

My bad, I'm American so I am used to speaking freely and not reading rules. I won't mention the C word again since it is verboten.

Cool; but just so you understand, it's not really about rules and laws in and of themselves, it's about Subsim having a good working relationship with the game companies and being highly respected in the sim world. I'm sure Neal believes firmly in free speech, but it really wouldn't help to have free speech destroy his reputation and ruin it for everyone else who relies on this site for the latest developments and assistance.

It's less about rules than it is about courtesy and fellowship.

The above message bears no relationship to Subsim or its staff.
