Hello. Im trying to add differnt sounds to the 40mm Bofors but cant seem to work out how to add the sounds to overide the generic gun sound. Ive made my own DSD for the 40mm single and added in the parentID for the link to it etc and added the sound to the sh.sdl etc and setup the settings. But im still stuck can anyone help please? :hmm:

im not sure but usually you need to replace the original file with one of your own by the same name, this is because i think the game will always try to use that file if it can find it

Well what i mean is not like change the orginal sound but add a sound to a weapon so its like
20mm > 20mm.wav 40mm > 40mm.wav etc etc etc Theres one sound for the 20mm and 40mm so they both sound extactly the same its annoying. ![]() |

Demonizer, I can't help you with your problem but thank you for trying to sort this out. The 20mm and 40mm AA guns sharing a sound has always been a source of frustration. I hope you are able to come up with a work around. Good luck!
