Default Can not output TDC bearing like Periscope compass

I try to output TDC target bearing in periscope interface so I can easily see TDC is in auto update state or not. Output it like in TDC interface has no problem. But try to let it display like Periscope compass (just below it) so I can easily see difference failed. It did not move anymore.

It seems can not output these rotate instrument value to a vertical or horizontal instrument. I only know Fuel Level in Dials.cfg move in vertical, but copy the setting using other value can not let it move.

If I can output TDC target bearing below periscope compass in SH4, it will be more useful for I can easily see the Bearing error.

Thank you. Periscopes TDC 1.1 also has it except it display out of screen.
But what I want is output just like periscope bearing for easy to compare. It seems no way to do that.

I don't understand.

OLC's mod gives the periscope bearing that the torp will take after it is launched.

To get the giro angle in the periscope viewing area, you would have to change the position of it in the menu_1024_768.ini, perhaps also the colour.

What I mean is I always forget set TDC auto update on after manual input parameters in periscope TDC interface, and you know what will happen next when I launch the torpedo - the TDC target bearing is not equal to Periscope bearing while fireing.

It seems no way to indicate the TDC auto update on or off in periscope interface. Try to move the auto update switch or the device glass (can change bright by on or off) to periscope failed. So I try to show the TDC target bearing with the Periscope bearing side by side so I can know they are point to same direction or not. But this attempt also failed.

Just tested use original style TDC target bearing display in periscope interface. But after I am too busying to set the paramters, I can not notice it and so it can not prevent me make mistake

OLC GUI shows the TDC auto update status in the periscope screen (actually, in all screens). AFAIK it's the only GUI that does. I think perhaps you evaluated it too quickly, as it seems you're unaware of that feature.

Thank you!
I haven't evaluate the OLC GUI, just see some screen shot. It seems they found the way to move MenuItem or Menu Layer to somewhere else, I will check it.

Still wish some way to change the rotate meter to horizontal meter. If that can do I want use it in SH4 to check the bearing error.

I have played SH3 with OLC GUI last night. That's great. It seems they found the way to link TDC input panel display on with TDC auto update off. Still haven't check the menu_1024_768.ini yet.

The advantage of this design is you can directly input when panel display without have to turn the auto update switch off first. And the player should close the panel before shoot. It reduce the possibility of making mistake while shooting (for using a not updated target bearing) for there are a so big panel display there. Although not fully prevent make mistake.

The disadvantage is you can not review your shoot paramters all the time in periscope interface. Especiallly review AOB I think is important. If you let the input panel on for a long time, and the lock is on or you have moved the periscope bearing, you will mess up the AOB if you don't adjust it again before close the panel.

Just thinking can I display something in front of fire button to prevent player press it while the input panel on. But it will display all the times in other interface without fire button
