Escort NATO SAG Mission

Hi!
Has anyone ever successfully completed the "Escort NATO SAG" mission?
I can sink the first Russian sub, but then my group catches up and gets hit by another sub. It's pretty hard to detect the Russians anyway, because I'm supposed to stay ahead of my group. With 20 knots, my sonar can't pick up a thing. Any tactic hints?

This one is tough. First staying ahead of the cargo ship and trying to detect Kilo's is next to impossible. If this were a real situation, you would be screwed. Try staying ahead of the cargo vessel and use active sonar (Continous). Have torps ready for snapshots. Do not even use towed array. You are too shallow!
make sure your weapons presets are set for shallow water and be careful of neutral shipping as well. This mission is not about remaining undetected. Take the fight to them and be a noisy SOB. Try it and see how it works out. but that is all the tip s for now. good luck.
