[REL] Enable stock Uboats in Multiplayer mode

Description:
This mod enables both Uboats from stock game in the multiplayer mode.
Maybe you think this mod is stupid, but I made it for a mate of mine and me.
We both had fun erasing an allied convoy with a IXD2 ;-)

Installation:
Put both folder into your MOD- folder and install via GME

You can choose between two mods.
The US and the German side variant.

When you pick the US mod, your sub will be handled as an allied sub. Now you can play the stock single and multi missions.
Otherwise you are a German sub like in real life and you need selfmade missions.

Important Notes:
This mod overwrites the US boat files. That means you can't play with Us boat as long as the mod is enabled.
---> ONLY PICK THE TWO GERMAN BOATS!
You get an appcrash when you play with ppl who have not this mod enabled.
---> only play with people where you know they have the mod enabled.
Compatibility is only tested with stock game.
---> watch out when you work with RFB and TMo or similar
---> Don't play the german or US campaign when you have the mod enabled.
--->Only *.mis files will be loaded. A German mission means only, what you add a allied convoy instead of an Ijn.

EDIT: OK, tried to install as the American subs via GME with no other mods active and the game crashes during the initial loading screen with the bar about two thirds of the way across.

Xantrokoles, do you think you could send me 1 or missions that you may have created for your german u-boats on the multiplayer. I created 1 or 2 myself but none will appear in the list of missions

For the missions, herr Pete I forgot to say, that you have to save the missions in *.mis format. So you make the same as in normal US missions, but you add another convoy

Just open your missions with notepad or the ME and save under .mis.

Hi, i was just wondering! if i were to play as the German U-Boat and created a random map and convoy etc! will it load up an american convoy or still a japanese convoy?

It is faster to run game and test it(:rotfl: ), but I don't know.

It should be a ijn one.
That was the devs problem maybe. Making the German Uboats avaialbe is just two clicks for them, but fitting the random missions is ullala.

woooo im an officer now lol just noticed! am gettin up the ranks! yeah! i have been on my laptop and i ahvent go it installed on it so i havent had a chance to try it. But il give it a go and give you a we update.

nah! it doesnt work! it gave me a large convy of the we japanese sailing ships lol

ahwel! the ambush mission where you must protect the allied convoy works though! it worked last night for me and my brother. had help from the japanese task force aswel thoughy my own mission still doesnt work though me and my bro both runs the same mods etc and we both have the same map in our multi folder yet his crashes ahwel, im happy with the u-boat just working lol

lol i tried the XVII submarine in the multimission! they dont have conning towers is this the same situation with yours Xantrokoles?
