Hi
Having the following problems with the U-boat Missions. On the screen where you can choose to start at port or at sea, if I click at sea, the game starts at port. The first time there is an explosion (via torp) the framerate goes down to 1 a sec until the explosion is over, then returns to normal. The second time there is a explosion the game runs as normal. One other thing v1.4 on my system was as smooth as *******, v1.5 is a little jerky when using external cam. SH4 freshly installed v.1.0, then installed UBM c2duo E6750 8800 gts 640 2gb 800hz ram Vista sp1 32bit Video driver 175.19 whql Mods TMO v152 TMO Enable U-boad ver3 |

Sounds like you have some file problems somewhere. I'd do the reinstall procedure in the Wolves of the Pacific forum. Especially when we're fooling around with mods it is possible to uninstall them in a different order than we installed them. This scrambles incompatable files, leaving a game with brain damage.
And you confirm what I see with SH4UBM. The video is no longer smooth, even though overall frame rates might be higher. I get the same jerkiness. If you display your frame rate you'll see it varying up and down so fast that most of the time you can't read the number.

I too got some jerkiness with 1.5. A program called alacrity fixed that completely. Shuts down unneeded applications etc. alacrity.com. free.
