Hey guys, just getting back into SH3 after loosing interest for a bit, iv reinstalled everything and d/l GWX, wen it comes to installing it it says that my SH3 folder isnt eligble, even thoguh its patched and clean, iv installed it anyway but it when it gets 3/4 way of loading i get an error message about menu id not being found ? Its bloody annoying as the game works on its own and with SH3 cmdr. Any ideas?

So you used SH3commander before adding GWX ?
Did you roll back after using ? I guess you will need another install |

I'd install GWX before you install SH3 Cmdr. Don't forget about the GWX files for SH3 Cmdr either. If that doesn't work then one of your GWX downloads might have been corrupted somehow.
P.S. What version of Windows are you using? If it's Vista don't install the game or add-ons to the Program Files folder. Pick another location as Vista puts restrictions on stuff like saved games, etc. in the Program Files folder. Run the installer(s) as Administrator too. Other than that there isn't much else that I can suggest. |
