I missed Operation Cerburus, how?

Fellow kaleuns,

I was informed of Operation Cerburus to take place at 11 februari, 1942, just around dark.
Now, I have visited Brest the 10th and sighted the three battleships. Then, I headed just outside the port and waited for two days (yes, untill the 12th), but I did not see any battleship go past. When I came back, two of them were gone, with just one still moored off.

Is this a bug in the game? Was I too late?

Confirmation, at least two battleships were present before the start of Cerburus (other is on the right)
