Pilot Rescue with RFB and RSRD, button gone?

I know there are thousands of tutorials, but strangely none seem to deal with my problem:
I spotted them allright, but I can't pick up any survivors because RFB apparently removed the "rescue survivor" button!
Is it just me or is it really gone?
I put the survivor in my binoculars at close range, about center and I still do not get any rescue option.

I dont play RFB any longer but in TMO you click on the binocular icon on the task bar. This bring up an icon that looks the same as the one on the map. Click on that icon while looking thru binocs at pilot.

The icon is under the periscope tab in RFB.

OK I'm wrong on this, for some reason I was thinking about the picture icon.

The rescue button does seem to be missing.

It's been fixed and will be re-enabled in the next RFB release.
