An Appeal and a Reward

For reasons I don't understand and can't resolve (something to do with my public domain email or something) I am unable to get authorization from either D2D through this site or Ubisoft to download the U-boat missions addon.

If one of you who has access to a download site such as FileFront will make the patch available to me for download I will send you a personal check for $20. Just pm me your address.

Setup a new email address using googlemail or yahoo etc... (or is that they type of public domain addy you are currently using?)

You should be able to get verification that way.

I gave them yahoo and juno addresses. No joy so far.

Banjo I don't know if it will make any difference but you can buy the download version at alienware.com. Maybe it will work for you.

Amazingly, when you order thru alienware the final payment screens become D2D again--with the same 'contact customer service if you are having trouble' text. WTF?

Do you have your browser security settings cranked up to the max? Maybe if you cranked it down to "medium" in the Security Settings it would allow the financial transaction to go through?

Use a different computer, get it, buy it, download it, and transfer it to your gaming rig on a media stick?

Just make DARN sure you print the screen with the registration or activation number on it! I had one hell of a time activating mine. If it was not for that printout I'd be out $20. BTW, not to upset you, man is it nice [the add-on].

Monica--love your picture! I may just buy the gold issue just to get 1.5. It is not my pc setup--I buy online all the time, and I got a message from them babblling about email addresses or some damn thing. Thanks for the ideas tho.

I agree Banjo...I know it's a little over a month away, but I'd just wait and buy the Gold Edition through SUBSIM.com at Amazon.com.

Then you'll have a full and complete SH4 + U-Boat Missions on a single DVD.
