Default Queston about stock ships

Hi guys,

Just been thinking...

Over the years I've read how many of the stock ships aren't at all realistic, or modelled badly, wrong damage etc. etc.

Well, given the amount of excellent modder's ships being released would it be an idea to disable those odd few stock ships that aren't very good?

For example, I've heard many criticisms of the C3 cargo, often being described as having the 'wrong shape, too tall etc. etc.' When you see it in a convoy compared to the excellent ships in the 'Community Ships' mod and the equally excellent ships by Iambecomelife, it really does stand out as a bit of a white elephant!

Given how many great ships are now available with more on the way (again IABL's superb merchant mod springs to mind), would we really miss the odd stock one for added realism? :hmm: Or would (could) they need to be replaced with a similar vessel because of the scripting (convoys, routes etc.) ?

Just a thought.

I was wondering what others views are on this?

Cheers all!

PS - Damn, just realised I typed the subject as 'Queston' instead of 'Question' and its too late to change it.... I can usually spell fine, honest!
