Default Armoured cruiser suicide pact?

On mission three east of the channel, a column of three armoured cruisers came sailing in giving me a near perfect attack. One passed ahead and another astern and I fired all four tubes hitting the cruiser in front but missing both stern shots. I evaded and after afew minutes of nothibg took a look. All three cruisers were in a cluster and sank one at a time! I only received proper credit for the one however. :p

Hi Buddahaid

That mission is a replication of a famous incident early in the war. The three cruisers were obsolete ships manned by reservists who with hindsight should not have been trusted in a war zone. It was also classically the moment when everyone realised just how potent a submarine/Uboat could be. The two unscathed ships returned to the stricken first ship to rescue shipmates, not really understanding what had happened - after this incident ships behaved differently ( ie scattered) ..... don't know why you are credited with only one though.
