Due to corrupted saves I couldn't solve,I had to reinstall SH4, 1.4 and TMO. Now however I am getting the opening Ubisoft logo and intro movie before the TMO screen. The game used to open directly to the TMO screen. How can I get rid of the logo and movie? Thanks.

Using an older version of JSGME?
The later versions have an option to remove a file you don't want. All you have to do is include a file with the appropriate name as the syntax, and JSGME will backup that file, and remove it from the active directory. This is what ive done in TM. It's a much more elegant solution then the old 0kb movie files which would cause some users issues. |

I just installed the newest JSGME today and used it. How come TMO didnt remove the movie today? It did before--or at least something did.

I took a look at JSGME but I'm afraid I don't understand you vis a vis removing the intro movie file.

Read the readme in JSGME to understand how it's supposed to work. i think the "syntax files" in TM are probably in data/movies, or some directory like that. Frankly, im not understanding why all of a sudden your seeing intro movies. Something else is going on there me thinks.

In TMO the movie folder was empty; however, the movie folder in SH4 had two items in it. I deleted the whole folder and that seems to have done it. The game now opens to your TMO screen and proceeds to the main menu, so I assume all is well. Thanks.

you need to keep the "Movies" folder and the three folders inside it (Missions, BackGrnd, and Intro) because the game needs them.
just open the "Intro" folder and delete the two files inside of it. that will safely and perminently remove them from the game. |
