Default Almost ready to give up...

...on SH3. I've reached May 42 in my current career and when I try to start the next patrol I get a CTD when it loads to 90% or so. This is what I get:

Whenever I try to load a previously saved game, whether in port or at sea, everything is fine. However each time I reach May 42 I get this CTD when I try to start the next patrol.

I am running GWX2.1, always loading via Sh3Cmdr, with the following mods enabled:

I've tried disabling all of them except GWX ones, to no avail
Maybe it's time for a loooooong break from SH3?:hmm:

Can you post the information in the technical report? I'm an idiot but I have witch-docteresque solutions to some common ones.

If you click the first option at the bottom of the first box you posted, you should get the info for copying here. Of course that means having to generate the error once again . There may also be a text file somewhere but I'm not sure where

sounds to me like there is a old stock SH3 bug going on here,
if I'm correct this is the cause of a Save file going corrupt.

That crossed my mind...but I thought save files can only go corrupt if you save at sea. This happens in port.

Any luck extending a patrol at sea until past May 1942? Eg., load up your last patrol and just sit somewhere quiet for a couple of months? Crank up the TC and walk away. It might not help, but if it's some weird line of code that doesn't like 1942 for you for some reason, it might. It would at least tell you if the problem is date-specific, or if it's something more general.

I had a random crash problem too, i disabled my AVAST AV system. No more crashes. SH3 is very sensitive with other applications. Disable stuff until you find the cause. Anti virus software are often bad.

Can you do a Print Screen including the error text and paste it into Word or something similar?
