Hi Denis

Very interesting plane. But if you saw one in combat ,you really would have been shocked. Only three prototypes were ever made, although there are reports one was flown operationally by Maj.Viedebannt of SKG10.

A much more useful plane for SH3 would be the Bv138. Is your project to make this finally dead ???.

Cheers,

Cheapskate

Dont think any were flown operationally
Used by KG200 IIRC

Ah yes
Focke Wulf Fw-190F8
User III/KG200
III/KG200 was formed to fit the Fw-190 fighters with torpedoes but never entered into action

Actually BBW, Sorry to be pernicketty, but think you'll find that's an A-5/U14

Dunno, if reports of operational use by SKG10 were correct but have got two sources that say Viedebannt did fly it in that unit.

Wouldn't be at all surprised to find it had been earmarked for use by KG200. They did fly all kinds of strange planes, in stranger places, for the strangest of reasons.

There were two produced, both carried 2 MG 151/20E cannons as armament, FW A-5/U14 code TD+SI, W. Nr 150871, and code TD+SJ W. Nr 150872, they carried a LTF 5b torpedo on a ETC 502 rack. Both had enlarged fin, similar to a TA-152, and heightened tail wheel struts for ground clearance of the torp. I would like to see the BV138 in game, as they helped supply the U-Boats. Puts
