Would some one be kind enough to explain how I use the above icons? I looked through the manual and FAQ, if it is there I missing it.

You can send a status report every few hours (I usually do once every day or after sinking a ship). If you are tasked to "conduct anti shipping operations" at a certain area and you have sunk a certain number of tons, you just radio your status to your home base and get a new mission (if you still have torpedoes). The same goes for special missions. After dropping your troops, agents or cargo you have to send a status message to get a new mission.
The contact report can be send after an enemy task force has been spotted. You will then get a reply to attack that task force or resume to your original mission. ![]() |

How do I send a report. I must have to compose the report and then send it, and that is what I have not figured out, Where do I go to compose the message and then incorporate it into the file?

I'm playing version 1.4 there you don't have to compose anything. The moment your crew has spotted a task force you can send the report (just click the button).
Same for the status report. Just press the button and you're happy. ![]() |
