I rented "Tropa de Elite" (Elite Troops), a brazilian film yesterday.

It is an unknown film outside Brazil, but is the most succesful film of the Brazilian film industry. It tells the history of some BOPE (a SWAT team) personnel, and the campaign to secure the 1997 Pope´s visit to Rio.

Very crude and realistic, and very well made. The best film I have seen this year.
